Ce mini deux pièces vétuste au dernier étage d'un immeuble haussmannien, s'est transformé en duplex grâce à la récupération des combles. En mezzanine, nous avons installé un couchage japonais avec tatamis. Une rénovation complète des lieux a permis de réaménager une kitchenette séparée. La salle d'eau a été entièrement carrelée (murs et sol) avec le même carrelage en galets naturels pour donner une unité dans un espace réduit.
De nombreux placards ont également été créés. Le bois pour les meubles, le parquet en chêne massif au sol, la laque pour l'escalier et la soie pour les rideaux, apportent une ambiance chaleureuse et chic dans un univers intemporel.
The old and very small two bedroom apartment on the top floor of a 1875 limestone building has been transformed into a convenient duplex as the eaves have beed used to expend vertically. On the mezzanine is a Japanese style sleeping area with tatamis and closets.
A total and full renovation of the space allowed for a small yet independent kitchen. The water room has been totally rethought, redone and tiled with stone pebbles on floor and walls for a natural and harmonious feel in this reduced space. Many closets as well as the space under the stairs have been created for ample storage facilities. Wood for most furniture, solid oak for the parquet floor, laquer for the stairs and silk for the curtains bring a welcoming, warm yet chic atmosphere to this very Parisian flat.

Une entrée, une pièce principale de 18m2, cuisine indépendante, salle de bains WC. La cuisine a été complètement réaménagée. Seule la crédence en carrelage gris clair a été conservée et nous avons joué avec les différentes nuances de gris au sol et sur les façades des placards avec un plan de travail blanc pour lui donner un look plus moderne. La SdB a été réduite permettant ainsi d'agrandir l'entrée. La teinte sourde tranche avec celles plus douces de la pièce à vivre et des boiseries (peintures satinées et mâtes Mise en Teinte et Farrow & Ball). Un parquet en chêne blanchi vient apporter la touche finale pour une ambiance très cosy.
An entrance, a 200 sqft main room, a separated kitchen and a bathroom with toilet make this functional semi professional studio very suitable for work as well. The Kitchen has totally been redesigned, only the original light gray wall tiles have been kept and to give a more contemporary feel, different shades of gray have been used on the cabinet doors and the floor. In order to expand the entrance, the bathroom has been rethought. A darker shade of paint contrast with the softer shade of the main room and its mouldings (Mise en Teinte et Farrow & Ball). And solid washed oak floor brings the final touch to a cosy decor.
